Hebrews 11:1-2

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. (KJV)

Wow! The key to receiving from the Lord what is hoped for…the key to having the evidence from Him of the unseen… is work (labor) in agreement with God’s instructions, and work (labor) with the belief you will be rewarded because of it. . THIS IS EMUNAH FAITH.

The Hebrew word emunah does mean “to have faith,” but it has a broader meaning that has implications for what God calls us to as people of faith. It also contains the idea of steadfastness or persistence. Exodus 17 tells us that Moses raised his hands all day long until the Israelites won a key battle. It says that his hands remained steady (emunah) until sunset. In this sense the word means “steadfast.”

Isaiah 43:2

2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. (KJV)

1 Timothy 6:12

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (KJV)

REVERSE THE CONTRADICTION

  • We are living in the Land of Contradiction. The Lord Jesus created everything based upon TRUTH. The enemy has stretched out his lying spirit upon God’s creation.
  • This realm is trying to convince us of who we are NOT!!!
  • We cannot receive what we desire, or become who we REALLY are, while living in captivity to that which contradicts The Lord Jesus.

CONTRADICTION

c.1382, from L. contradictionem, from contradicere "speak against," from contra "against" + dicere"to speak" (see diction). Contradict first attested 1570s, "speak against;" sense of "assert the contrary" is from 1582.

OFFER TRUTH AS THE CONTRADICTION TO THE LIE

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (KJV)

John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (KJV)

COMPREHENDED (GREEK) 2638 katalambano (kat-al-am-ban'-o); from 2596 and 2983; to take eagerly, i.e. seize, possess, etc. (literally or figuratively): KJV-- apprehend, attain, come upon, comprehend, find, obtain, perceive, (over-) take.

Katalambano can mean "overcome" or it can also mean "comprehend" or "perceive."

The light is outside of the darkness' ability to assimilate or understand.

LIVING IN FAITH IS “CONTINUOUSLY RESPONDING TO GOD”.

Ps 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. (KJV)

BELOVED, IT IS GOD'S PLEASURE TO PROSPER YOU! BY PASTOR DON W. LEWIS

God's wealth is available to you right now in the Name of Jesus. In the Book of Psalms chapter 35, verse 27, God says: "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant."

The Bible is our source of understanding the very heart and nature of God. Psalm 84:11 says: "For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."

The purpose of this material is to provide a source for disciplining our souls concerning the mind of God. As we meditate daily upon the Lord's Word of prosperity, let us line up our very speech with God's Word. Let's speak over our lives exactly what the High Priest Jesus is speaking as He intercedes for us now. Let us experience a divine change in our thinking as we yield to the power of God's Word.

7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

Ephesians 3:2021

21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

The Anointing Of Jesus Corrects Our Journey Pastor Don W. Lewis

I John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested (visible), that he might destroy(undo, loosen, and dissolve) the works of the devil (the works the devil has done). (KJV)

  • The devil wants to teach a people who were once oppressed by him to keep hoping and waiting for freedom from bondage. Freedom from poverty, sickness, and death.
  • Jesus came to undo the works not with a natural means but with a supernatural mantle.
  • In the Covenant it is recorded:

Isaiah 54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. (KJV)

unnamed (2)

The devil attempts to oppressed a people, to “re-yoke” a people especially in a “father’s” ministry:

1 Corinthians 4:15-16

15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. (KJV)

  • The direction of the anointing is forward motion—moving forward.
  • Course corrections are planned for and expected.
  • There are trajectory course maneuvers (TCM)

Navigate the course by changing the angle

Isaiah 54:13-14

13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. (KJV)

Our Prayer of manifestation of sonship—“Lord cause your anointing in my life to be made visible to all at all times. Lord allow sonship in my life be made clear and visible to all I come in contact with. Along my pathway let is be known that Christ has undone, loosened, and dissolved the works the devil has done. In the Name of Jesus.”

Study the Prayer of Elijah (please note “prayer”):

IKings 18:36

36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. (KJV)

James 5:16

16 … The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (KJV)

Keep Your Anointing Fresh”

stale - c.1225, "freed from dregs or lees" (of ale, wine, etc.), i.e. "having stood long enough to clear," cognate with M.Du. stel "stale" (of beer), and probably ult. from P.Gmc. base *sta- "stand," the source of O.E. standan"to stand," Perhaps via O.Fr. estaler "halt," from Frankish *stal- "position." The meaning "not fresh" is first recorded 1475.

fresh (1) - late 13c. metathesis of O.E. fersc"unsalted," from W.Gmc. *friskaz (cf. O.Fris. fersk,Du. vers, Ger. frisch "fresh"), probably cognate with O.C.S. presinu "fresh," Lith. preskas "sweet." The metathesis, and the expanded M.E. senses of "new, pure, eager" are probably by influence of O.Fr. fres (fem. fresche), from P.Gmc. *frisko-,related to the Eng.word. To freshen a drink, "top it off" is from 1961.

  • Cover your anointing. – Cover your anointing with prayer. Seek God’s direction for its use and care.
  • Remove the dead flies. -- Dead flies are removed from the precious ointment of the apothecary by means of PRAYER, PRAISE, THE WORD, AND WORSHIP. One of the ingredients for the incense that was used on the Golden altar of incense was the odorous gum galbanum. (Exodus 30:34) Perhaps it is no accident that this powerful aromatic was used to drive away insects or reptiles!

At the same time, the sweet aroma of true prayer and praise and worship will permeate the atmosphere with the sweetness of corporate anointing and drive away every foul odor and influence from the fallen prince of the power of the air.

Galbanum. Galbanum was the milky substance extracted from the stems which quickly hardened. It was used in perfume and anointing oil <Exodus 30:34>.

Succeed In All You Do By The Anointing

Acts 10:38

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazarethwith the Holy Ghost and with power (strength and ability and power): who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (KJV)

  • In God’s Presence is a power greater than poverty, sickness, and death.

Isaiah 10:27

27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. (KJV)

# The word "destroyed" means absolutely corrupted beyond use, no good for the devil's use.

# The same power to absolutely corrupt beyond use that was on Jesus is available to you.

# Find scriptures that reference the title "Christ" and translate it into "the Anointed One and His Anointing" Look for scriptures that speak of "in Christ" or "through Christ" and translate in (through) the Anointed One and His Anointing.

2 Corinthians 5:17

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ (in the Anointed One and His Anointing), he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV

I John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. (KJV)

RETURN IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT…THE MANTLE OF THE ANOINTED

Luke 4:14-15

14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. (KJV)

Returned from what, from where?

Luke 4:1-2

1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

(KJV)

  • Returned from the temptation designed to get Jesus to change direction…to get Christ (the Anointed One with the Anointing) off course by a few degrees.
  • Verse 14 that speaks of Jesus’ returning in the power of the Spirit is an event that occurred after verses 1, then 2-12, then 13.
  • Look at verse 13

Luke 4:13

13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season. (KJV)

I Jn 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. (NIV)

UNCTION 5545 CHRISMA (KHRIS'-MAH); from 5548; an unguent or smearing, i.e. (figuratively) the special endowment("chrism") of the Holy Spirit: KJV-- anointing, unction.

  • THE LORD’S ANOINTING--We are the Lord’s anointing.
  • FORWARD MOTION UNDERSTANDING--The anointing of the Holy Spirit brings understanding <1 John 2:20,27>.

I John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. (KJV)

I John 2:27

27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (KJV)

  • THE TRUTH OF GOD--The Holy Spirit anoints a person's heart and mind with the love and truth of God.

Let the anointing teach us faith. The anointing destroys the yoke so that we can hear what faith is saying. We can hear what Jesus is saying. Faith simply says:

  • "It is finished."
  • "Take no thought for tomorrow."
  • "Take no thought for your life."
  • "By one offering you have been perfected forever."
  • “God has made us accepted in the beloved.”

1 Timothy 4:14

14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. (KJV)

1 Timothy 1:18

18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; (KJV)

Luke 1:41-42

41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:

42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

  • FOLLOW YOUR PROPHECY--Follow the prophetic gift that is in your womb. Prophecy is leaping, you are being filled. Let the prophecy/promise be your focus.
  • KNOW THAT PROPHECY IS NOT ENOUGH. YOU NEED GOD’S SPIRIT.--Six months pregnant with the prophet but without the filling of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 4:29-31

29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. (KJV)

FROM THE DESK OF PASTOR DANIELLE ESTEEMING THE WORD OF GOD

For many of us, as we experience this time of pandemic, we find that since we are mostly house bound, we are eating more than we usually do. One reason is because we are in close contact with our refrigerators during the day. Another reason is because we may be mildly depressed and eating for some is a coping mechanism. Just as we eat physical food every day to sustain our physical bodies, we need to eat God’s Word everyday to feed our spirit man. Deuteronomy 8:3 tells us that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live while Job 23:12 says I have not gone back from the commandment of His lips-I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.

Proverbs 4: 20-22 says

20- My son, attend (apply one’s energies to or direct attention to) My words, incline thine ear (listen) unto my sayings

21- Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart

22- For they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh.

Direct your tongue to speak words of of life by first depositing them in your heart.

Matthew 12:34 & 35

34- …out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things; and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

As you store or deposit the Word of God you are programming your spirit man to bring forth good things – when you are ready to make a withdrawal you are withdrawing life filled words. What you speak out of your mouth is in your heart so we need to fill our heart with God’s Word.

Joshua 1:8 tells us to meditate in the Word day and night,

To meditate is to dwell on, think on, to mutter or speak to one’s self.

One can meditate on scripture by reading the passage out loud a few times, asking questions, memorizing a verse, reading in a couple of different translations, or paraphrasing it in your own words. Talk with God about how this verse relates to your life, and how He wants you to apply this truth.

I John 5:14-15

14- And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything, according to His Will, He heareth us;

15- And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

The Word of God is the Will of God. Make sure your words line up with what God’s Word says. Don’t talk the circumstances or the condition or what you see. Talk or confess the answer-even before you see the answer.

II Corinthians 1:20

20 For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God by us.

It is God’s will that we walk in health. Claim what belongs to you based on His Word. Fear not- Believe only.

BE YE HOLY! Four Weeks Towards Consecration

A Time of Consecration

by Pastor Don W. Lewis

"And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord. So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord." 1 Kings 8:10,11

L2c0h9_1746729886

Over three thousand years ago, the great and wise King Solomon completed the work his father David had dreamed of doing, "building the house of the Lord", the temple unto The Most High God. The King oversaw the work of more than 183,000 laborers: hewers of stone, cutters of wood, craftsmen of gold and silver. Seven years later the temple was ready. The priests brought in the ark of the covenant, drew out the staves, began to come out of the holy place, and then the greatest, most sacred event occurred. The Lord's Presence filled the temple.

"And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord..."

Today we hunger and thirst for the" glory of the Lord" filling our yielded vessels. We are now the temples of The Most High God. The Son of God, Jesus Christ, has completed the work His Father desired. By becoming the Seventh Man, this perfect and last Adam, has shed a blood that transforms the sinner into a saint, the weak into the strong, the lost into the found. A work that took Solomon seven years to build becomes complete in a moment of surrender to the Lord our God. Now the very Presence of God has come not only upon us but within us.

With our past behind us and the future set before us, we remain steadfast in looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. We look to our Lord as our "all in all" just as the Old Testament priests looked to the Cloud for direction, protection, and comfort. He has guided us this far and the journey is not about to end. We are anticipating a year of prevailing faith and unimagined victory.

Before the cloud filled the house of the Lord, the priest had to come out of the holy place. We must enter into the holiness of God. Is the ground we stand upon holy, or has it been compromised? Are we attending to the holy things of God in the holy place or are we busy on a self-made mission without God? Before the cloud filled the house of the Lord, the temple had to be dedicated, set apart for a special divine use.

The Bible still speaks to our hearts the words Moses spoke over 3500 years ago:"Consecrate yourselves today to the Lord, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day." Exodus 32:29

The word "consecrate"means to devote, separate, dedicate, give wholly over to God.

Consecration accomplishes these three major results:

1. Reveals God's plans for our lives.

Psalm 40:8, 143:10

2. Empowers us to finish the work to which we are called.

Isaiah 40:31; 41:10

3. Brings prosperity into our lives and others.

Numbers 32:11-12

Let us begin by consecrating our spirit, soul, and body unto the Lord. We suggest periods of prayer with fasting as we focus on four basic areas of consecration: surrender, purification, vision, and faith. By focusing on these four areas, we are assured the victory that Christ has promised us in His Word.

First Week - Surrender

During these precious initial days of consecration, we surrender all to the Lord: our hopes and plans, our hurts and disappointments, our emotions and thoughts, our families and friends, our concerns, our careers -everything.

"Lord, I humble myself in Your presence, knowing that You will exalt me in due time. I cast all my cares upon You because You care for me."

Second Week - Purification

During this second week, we seek the Lord for purification from the hidden sins or "separators from God": unfruitful attitudes and perspectives, fears and anxieties, negative thinking and speech, insecurities that rob us of true Christian fellowship, slothfulness, feelings of defeat and loneliness.

"Lord purify me by the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with Your Holy Presence. Make me fit for the Master's use."

Third Week - Vision

During this third week, we seek the Lord's vision for our lives. We are asking for clarification of God's perfect will for us; "nevertheless, not my will, but Thy will be done." As the Lord speaks to us we dedicate ourselves to His vision, His hopes, His will.

" Lord show me Your vision that I may make it plain, write it down, and run with it."

Fourth Week - Faith

During this final week, we seek the Lord for the increase to our faith. With our lives surrendered, purified, and dedicated unto the Lord, we are now in need of prevailing faith to finish the race. We are the "just" and we live by faith in God's Word, Character, and Power.

"Lord, increase my faith, fill me with an unrelenting trust in Your presence and Your promises. I want to fight the good fight of faith and finish this race. I want to bear much fruit so that You shall be glorified"

"...And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord?"

1 Chronicles 29:5

Our answer is, "Lord we are most willing!"

Third Week - Vision & Dedication

During this third week, we seek the Lord's vision for our lives. We are asking for clarification of God's perfect will for us; "nevertheless, not my will, but Thy will be done". As the Lord speaks to us, we dedicate ourselves to His vision, His hopes, His will.
